Computers tools allow architects to explore new aesthetics, simulate the performance of their design, or automate their design tasks in a way never seen before. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the latest development in that field with great potential for real-time design assistance in the architectural practice. The aim of teaching is to prepare future architects and civil engineers for the challenges of digitization and sustainability. The basis of teaching in the department is the teaching of digital methods in construction with all technical and disciplinary aspects.
